I know the SKMB is a global community. I want to incorporate a few works not written by authors from the United States into my King class. I work in American lit 1900-1970's, so I am way behind on my global literature reading. Any recommendations for horror authors who aren't American? Are any of your recommendations similar to King in style or content? It's okay if the author doesn't write in English.

Walsall, England
Shaun Hutson (has also written thrillers), Tanith Lee, Brian Lumley, Roald Dahl's adult stuff, Dennis Wheatley, Clive Barker. Then you have MR James, James Herbert, Bram Stoker, Algernon Blackwood, Mary Shelley, Arthur Machen...
I've been told Nuzo Onoh is good, but I've not read her.
