New here obviously, I figured I would join the message board of my favorite writer of all time so I could find some like minded people to talk to. I'm a writer/cartoonist and King is probably my biggest writing influence, there are nods to his books and movies in the graphic novel series I've been planning.

I hope I can talk with some of you and maybe we can become friends.

You might want to run it past his personal assistant before getting too far into your project though as the copyright issue might be a problem. Stephen doesn't allow people to use his characters in their work.

I don't use any of his characters, there are just little nods here and there to moments from his work, homages. I pay homage to a lot of my favorite things in the comic, within the first two chapters there are a bunch of nods to movies I've enjoyed. The best one is this scene where a bunch of toys come to life and Henry (the main character) shouts "This is some Charles Band ****!" Sorry if i'm rambling, I ramble when i'm sleep deprived.
