It's going to rain through the weekend! Port a Potty, and camper shower in the backyard!

I'm getting a little disturbed by the weather pattern because it's reminding me of 2004 when we were a hurricane target. That year, we had tons of rain, many times like this morning when we would get very heavy rains and it was only raining here, the rest of the state was fairly clear. Also, pouring down rain in the middle of the night like it's been doing the past 3 weeks. Usually when we get a big rain in the afternoon, it's clear that night but we've been getting a storm in the afternoon and then another one at night. It was doing that in 2004 too. I think we've had 15-20 inches of rain since Memorial Day. I'd really like this to go away for a while so I could get my new roof done.

I'm trying to get a new roof and the weather is not cooperating at all. When I signed the contract, it hadn't rained for months. Ever since then, it's been raining like crazy.

The pattern has been weird. Usually , on my coast, we get the AM off the gulf, then the afternoon ones build mid state and travel again this way. You have had so much morning noon and night. I'll have the feeder bands from Cristobal all week, weekend as it travel north.

It's pouring again and supposed to keep it up until Saturday. My bathrooms are out of order this morning. I might have to bath in the sink at work today.

We had 6"-12" of rain yesterday in my county yesterday (I'm guessing my house was closer to the higher end of that number) with more of the same forecast until Sunday. The sun is not even popping out which is really weird around here. We don't get completely cloudy days very often. We managed to go several hours overnight with no rain so I was able to shower this morning. Everyone around me will be pleased.

We've gone 3 days without rain. It's like a desert around here. I managed to get my grass mowed yesterday.

Rain is supposed to crank up again Sunday. We've had approximately 24" of rain since Memorial Day.
