We haven't had school or work for the past two days. I have a giant patch of ice outside my front door! Oh - I just checked it, and it's starting to melt around the edges. Thank goodness! But seriously, we're not used to this kind of cold, or driving on icy roads. I'm ready for temps in the 70s again.
Temp up to 52F going back down tonight to 27F. Am starting to think the planet shifted!!
I'm so grateful for heaters, blankets, and a roof over my head. I'm glad the library has been closed, but also know some of our regular patrons are living in tents in this weather.

They are predicting 38 degrees F here tomorrow which is warmer than usual. Andy actually goes back up North tomorrow morning very early, back to Baker Lake where the temperature will probably be around minus 24 degrees F!
Things are thawing here and tomorrow shall be warmer. It is alittle warmer today.But will be cold enough to have black ice once everything refreezes tonight.
Please be very careful.
...I just wish I had a huge house, where all the displaced and homeless could get warm, have a meal and some medical care......especially since so many are Veterans......
Called off school for tomorrow. WOW what a break for the kiddos.

....I am so damn tired of schlepping through mushy dirty snow.....
Possibly neither one if they have no more snow days. I believe they still have one more day that is allowed.
