....well, let's hope you land on and buy the Electric Company huh?.....
 I wasn’t smart enough to land on utilities.
We in Ireland had this thing called the sun for the past two weeks. It's so rare, I actually googled what it was. anything over 20 degrees and i am dead. I can't take heat. but if it is like 5 degrees, I will walk around in a t-shirt. Cold doesn''t bother me, but the heat...

Honestly, I would just love to hear you talk in real life. I’m a sucker for a good accent.

In other news, Derry was pretty torn up this morning from the storms. McDonald’s parking lot was blocked by a tree and two or three HUGE trees were uprooted in front of Derry Village School.

They are predicting 31 degrees Celsius (whatever that might be in Fahrenheit?) :umm::hmm: i.e. HOT

My son is going to a BBQ this evening from 6 until 8 so I hope it has cooled down a bit by then.

Cloudy, rainy and cold today, looks like all weekend too. It is a holiday weekend here -- Canada Day Holiday.
June has been a crazy month for weather,, always seems to be.
Me, I love cold weather but heat over 25degC is not for me.

Hope the rain doesn't put a damper on the long weekend!

Our heat wave seems to have finally broken - it's 13 degrees Celsius (that's 55 F). So cool that I can now open windows and hear the birds outside, rather than the constant drone of the central air conditioning.

Think I will leave the windows open for a while just to clear the air and introduce a little bit of humidity.

It's another hot, sunny day, going to 36deg C today. Heard that there are 11 new wildfires over the week end.
Seems most of the fires are human set this year, either intentional or careless smoking. Such a shame. My
basil and rosemary are on their second cutting. The basil grew 10 inches in 2 weeks! But my pansies, well they
are a wreck. Putting them in the shade after a few hours of sun, its just too much heat for them. Going back to
petunias next year, much more hearty.

Sorry to hear about the continued heat wave. It is such a relief once that hot humid weather finally passes. However I guess you don't really get that much humidity there?

This is the first time I have woken up not feeling like I'm all damp with sweat (ewww) in many weeks. Even with AC on it was hard to manage the heat. The open windows feel better today, plus it's giving my AC unit a needed break.
