We had a half hour break from the humidity when a cool, gentle shower encamped around us and lifted like spooked crows. The entire time white stripes and sparkles of lazy light winked in the rain; a peculiar time when the sun won't be hindered, and the world is a calm rainforest. I love to breathe in the wet earth and woods afterwards. I'm hoping to see some bean sprouts soon. My cucumber vines are tall and downright boastful.

Cloudy but the sun is breaking through, I'd say we're in for another beautiful day here today. 12C / 53F.
Awwwwwrrrrrsome!
Nice sun today, and some more evening rains coming again.
I love it!
I hope we get the light shows too Frank.
I can smell the rain coming, and I am looking for the greenish hail skies too.
Y'all keep safe and enjoy your weather and weekend as best you're able to. :)

Somewhere over the rainbow
Rain stopped, :wha:, still very overcast so probably more rain on the way later, it's not called the Emerald Isle for nothing. 11C/51F.
:eyebrow: Uh huh... And I bet I can tell you the exact time the rain stopped, too.
Beautiful day here, 14C / 57F. Threatened thunder and rain never materialised.
Was a beautiful day today, sun shining all day, it's cooled down a bit now but still very pleasant out, 15C / 59F

:suspect:
Rain must have it in for me... It follows me around.
There were storms in Boston until my flight left the ground.
When we got to Dublin we were greeted by the rain.
Left to go to Galway and the sun came out again.

Drizzling in Connemara and on Galway Bay
(40 shades of green require 40 shades of gray)
Just a mist; the sun, a silver disc behind the clouds...
Wind and rain upon the Cliffs of Moher thinned out the crowds.

Lost it, briefly, in Kenmare until the Cashel Plain.
Sun was out then, suddenly, a burst of sideways rain.
Soaking wet and freezing cold, we hurried down the Rock
Sorry for the sodden sheep that huddled in a flock.

Storms were slow to reach Kilkenny; skies were, mostly, blue.
Found us in the Wicklow Mountains, though - at Glendalough.
Followed us to Skerries and then zeroed in on Lusk.
Didn't get to Dublin 'cause it poured from dawn to dusk.

When, at our departure gate, the sun began to peek,
Irish eyes were shining for the first time in a week.
Now I hear it's warm and sunny on the Emerald Isle.
It's the nicest that their weather's been in quite awhile.

Meanwhile, it's been cold and rainy here since we got back.
I've begun to view this as a personal attack.
I would really like to see the sun again someday
Lest I have to build myself an arc and float away.
