Storm Lorenzo due to hit the country here later today, 100kmh winds with heavy rain, coastal flooding expected and power lines to come down. It's only meant to last 8 hours but a lot can happen in that time I guess. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Ah it'll probably turn out like the last time, everybody going crazy and buying up every loaf of bread in the country because of a light breeze.

Nothing says a big storm coming than a peanut butter and jelly on wheat...:biggrin-new:
Peanut butter and jelly not too big over here, we'd probably substitute them with sausage and bacon and sit quite happily listening to the storm raging outside:still_dreaming:

I noticed that over there!

The day after a good night out drinking some people would call ahead to Andy's restaurant and order a "Bacon Butty" (I think it might be a hangover cure) :p

We do what's called a Breakfast Roll here neesy, sausage, bacon, black pudding and a fried egg, all jammed into a crusty bread roll. Sheer heaven on a cold miserable day. :still_dreaming:

Sounds yummy - I just had a grilled cheese sandwich on flax bread using horseradish cheddar. It's like walking into a big fridge out there this morning. 5 C but they are predicting we will go up to 9 today.

Red sky in the morning - sailors take warning (or something like that)

Hope it passes you by without any major damage!

The calm before Storm Lorenzo brought a stunning sunrise to England
