(I picked about 15 Asian lady bugs off of the two flower heads I brought in from the cold)

I'm loving it! I've always been a winter person. The colder and more blizzardy it gets the less, people are out and about, and the world is mine!!!How do you like that nice wet snow today?
Yesterday I had already picked all my green tomatoes but the sunflowers are looking quite sad nowThey're way too tall to cover up with sheets
I picked a couple of the flower heads off to put in a vase with one other I had found broken off two days ago.
Guess Fall is officially over and Winter is just starting
I'm just griping because I have to head out into it shortly, going to a gig in the city centre, I'm just getting old, I used to go to every gig available but now it takes a lot to get me off my a$$ to go to a show.
Better than snow! At least you don't have to shovel it

Heading in to see Exhorder , a band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They put out a couple of albums in the early 90's and then split up, reformed a couple of years ago and put a new album out earlier this year, it's their first time playing here in Ireland. A buddy of mine wants to go so I'll tag along to keep him company then I'll drop him home after the show.

It's been snowing since last night. Winter weather advisory until tomorrow morning. Then a blizzard warning! Not ready for this!
We ended up getting off pretty easy. Only a couple of inches. It did get darn cold though, we had wind chill temp of 1F one morning. We lost power for about an hour Wed night, but I saw the city was investigating reports of someone hitting a transformer with a car, so it was not because of the storm.
Sounds like another one coming in a few days but so far the forecast is just a couple inches for here.
Had a bomb cyclone last night. Good thing I was bombed or it would have kept me up.

Cold. High today of 49 and winds at 40mph. Last week it was in the 70s.
