It's going to be 37°C this Friday... And the end of this heatwave still isn't in sight. I am beyond concerned. :upset:

Also, completely off-topic, but when I was picking out a smiley, I noticed that the "hammer" smiley is hopping along with the rhythm of the song I'm currently listening to (Heavy Horses). That cheered me up, haha! :biggrin-new:

Sunny, partly cloudy. The past few weeks have been humid with late afternoon thunderstorms that always seem to be in the distance. Light rain is sporadic and short. Today the peach stand is still open and they have cucumbers too.

It's hot again, 95°F Up to 100 till Thursday

We have a lot of green Spots around, like Copses,Farmland,Lawns and everything is dry as a Bone, because
we have Temperatures above 77°F since more than 2 Months and a Lack of Rain.

And there are still some Idiots, smoking in the Woods or when they are on a Grassland.
Or throwing their Cigs out of the Car etc.

LOL. Some home churned peach ice cream sounds good, doesn't it?

People that throw cig butts (or trash) from their cars should be publicly tarred and feathered. So arrogant.

...going out for a family dinner prior to leaving Maine in the AM, might as well have skipped a shower-so frickin' humid, my clean stuff looks like I toweled the Buick off with it......oh well, I have my Red Bull and Jamesons cocktail to comfort me.....
You haven't seen FL in the summertime. Heck, ask Marsha what she thought of the humidity in Oct.!

Who wants some heat, I can send some. :D Yes it's been really really hot these last 4 weeks. 25 Celsius to 31 Celsius every
day and I really mean every day. It's killing us soon. And forecast says it's continue 4 more weeks.:sweat_002:
we really sweat here literally. Thanfully it's only 18 Celsius during the nights. Not too hot. Sun is shining like everyday, not sign of rain or thunderstorm.
We soon get trouble getting hay for horses if the heat continue like this. And one horse in the stable where my horse is as well, had to be put down last week. Its so sad, no one knows was it because of the heat or something else. that the horse had to be put to sleep.
Yes I like summer and warm, but this is too much.

Still hot. :moody: This heat/dry spell is becoming serious, we can actually see the result of it in our food now. The potatoes are tiny, the cucumbers are shriveled. I know that's a given, but this doesn't usually happen here. We are so spoilt over here that our food hardly ever suffers from bad weather conditions. Of course the farmers notice and suffer from it, but the food that ends up in the supermarket is still the same quality. Now it's just not. And it's scary.

It is hot here in my part of Canada too - I had to go out on the deck and water my Roma tomatoes as they looked a bit droopy. I think we got up to 31 degrees C today.
