Are you talking about Steve?:)
Steve who?

Rained all last night, several roads are flooded, getting to work was a tad tricky this morning. 10C/50F:doubt:
Yikes - that doesn't sound too pleasant but 50 F sounds good

It's 32 F here with hardly any snow on the ground which is great

Hoping for some sun today so I can take a nice long walk in the park and feed the squirrels

Here's one for you Marsha:

I'm obviously talking about Steve Stine, the guitarist for Billy Idol. :)

According to this (not always accurate) weather forecast, I have possibly three halfway decent days to finish any outdoor work, two to finish anything indoors which is going to be finished, one to render myself physically and mentally prepared, and it's gonna snow the day I have to go under the knife.

Winter Storm Warning until 6 PM tonight. Didn't change over to snow from freezing rain until around 7:30 this morning so hard to say if we'll end up with the 4-6" they've forecast for us. Just enough to close down schools and make traveling dicey but luckily can work from home so other than having to reschedule my hair appointment not that big a deal. It does have me counting the days until I head to AZ, though. :)

In Maine, does the stylist have to thaw out your hair before starting? :)
LOL No, but neither one of us wanted to risk traveling to get there. The stylist I go to has to travel about 14 miles to the salon and I don't go out in this weather unless there is no other choice and a haircut doesn't qualify for that as far as I'm concerned. :)

Decided not to take the youngest daughter back to college Sunday because of all the ice on the roads. So I took her back to DC yesterday after removing a ¼” of ice off the windshields. 9.5 hours of driving since everyone on the road apparently did what I did. Sun was shining there, grass was still nice and green, and the trees still had colorful Fall leaves on them. The kid had to take her Christmas tree back with her, and she’ll be bringing it back home on the 13th when I pick her up for Christmas break. I asked her why she needed to take the tree down for two weeks? She said... ‘Dad, you don’t understand.’ I guess I don’t, but I do understand kids are strange. This morning, the ice with its whitish look, on the mountain pine trees was spectacular.

I found out it’s a thing with the students at her college to visit our nation’s prominent structures in the capital (like the Capital building, White House, Supreme Court, and monuments) in the middle of the night and take goofy pictures....

"What's the significance of you laying down on the steps of the Supreme Court eating pizza?"
"Dad, you don't understand."

Ah, but you do understand. Remember the things we did in college/youth that"our parents did not understand". Just a different level of the Tower/ time!
