I am really sad today. We had a provincial election and I am not happy with the results. I am trying to cheer myself up. I did have a phone interview with winners /tj max and hope to get a call for a in person interview so at least I will have like 12 hours a week wich is something
Hi Hill Lover, I was hoping Notley would win but now you have this snaky guy, Jason Kenny, who is more interested in being a politician and playing power games rather than helping the Albertans. He failed federally so now he is down to the provincial level. I'm sure his next career change will be municipal politics but in the meantime you folks have to suffer under his 'wisdom and guidance'. All the best, mal

Thanks, may I ask where you live? My issue is how he did it, some of these so called cause organizations are really just pro conservative ment to dived and spread garbage.. we do have organizations that will protest his policy’s.. and I will work hard to be a good person to the marginalized. Also we have a lot of uneducated people I mean that with no disrespect. A lot of the voters are middle aged with no high school education. Of course they are going to believe a Greg stilltson type of guy.

Hi Hill lover35, I was born in Saskatchewan but lived in Manitoba since I was 19. I generally try to keep track of all the different ways the world is falling apart. That's why I am familiar with your election. As far as I'm concerned party politics is dead. It's time for a main administrative authority with democratic votes going towards issues, not people. A guy can dream can't he? :culpability:

That is a good idea. The only thing I am happy with is the voter turn out was high and glad the advanced polls did so well. Now we are on to the federal election yee haa

I'm angry today beccause some Wing Nut microchipped my cat without my knowledge or consent and is now suing ME, forcing me to travel a thousand miles to her town, or face having a default judgement against me. I can't afford it, I don't have time for it, just had surgery a couple weeks ago, and I'm so sick of this lunatic that I could scream.

That's how my day's going. How's yours?

Pretty dark right now and they had no more Diet Coke at the supermarket, otherwise pretty good.

Hopefully your surgery went well !

Healing vibes for the surgery and for dealing with this nit-wit! Isn't this the girlfriend's parent? Can your family intervene or appear for you?

This doesn't make me mad in a meaningful way. More exasperated I guess.

So, I was watching one of those reaction to music videos on YouTube. The premise is people who have not heard a song before listen and give their opinion. It can be entertaining to see people react to songs I'm familiar with for the first time.

This particular series is people's reactions to punk rock music. The song in question is Black Flag's Rise Above. Another song released almost 40 years ago that is more relevant than ever. Check it out if you like punk and have never heard it.

Anyway, after these two people have finished listening to the song the woman says "The first ting that strikes me is that this a protest set to music." Duh! Thank you Madam Obvious. That's exactly what punk is. It's all a protest of one form or another. If you are going to be commenting on a specific music genre, know something about it so you can at least speak intelligently about it

The ignorance of people who should know better

Not getting into the politics of the whole situation. Just referring to White House staff not being able to spell the name of the team they are hosting correctly. Seriously, Red Socks? Come on people, be smarter than that.

I was walking through a set of automatic doors. The doors didn't open properly and I ended up running into one of the doors. There was a guy standing near the entrance. He didn't even offer to help me or just to see if I was all right. He just stood there and stared like an idiot. I don't have any injuries. it could've been worse, I guess.

I guess chivalry is dead (or the guy was just so gobsmacked he didn't know how to help!)

Like Gloria from Fargo Season 3, not sure if you've watched it but automatic doors wouldn't open for her. It's great.
But yeah, he should have helped or at least asked if you were OK.
