I was walking through a set of automatic doors. The doors didn't open properly and I ended up running into one of the doors. There was a guy standing near the entrance. He didn't even offer to help me or just to see if I was all right. He just stood there and stared like an idiot. I don't have any injuries. it could've been worse, I guess.
Kelli, I kind of understand that you think he should have at least asked if you were alright, but as a man I know that we are being conditioned to treat women as equals, so, a man would not ask another man if he was alright, so why should he ask a woman if she was allright? As I told someone before on this website a couple of years ago, I was going into a office block and I held a door open for a woman in her twenties and she said to me, "Don't you think I can open a door for myself?" Like I was being a male chauvinist.

I will try to explain what happened today. None of it was my fault. I went to the deli counter at the supermarket to get my lunch. I was the only customer at the counter. There was no one else. I wanted the chicken with mashed potatoes combo. The clerk didn't have any mashed potatoes on the steam table so she went into the back room to get some. While she was getting the potatoes, I took a couple steps to the left. Then a rough looking woman came into the deli section after me. She had a huge tattoo on her left arm and she sounded intoxicated. That's all I'm going to say about her. The clerk came out with my mashed potatoes and the other woman starts accusing me of butting in the line. I was there BEFORE her. The clerk tried to explain this, but the other woman just kept on throwing a fit. I thought she was going to hit me or pull out a weapon. The clerk apologised to me even though it wasn't her fault. Then I just paid for my food and got the heck out of there. That incident ruined my whole day. I'm not going to avoid that store from now on, just the deli counter. I shouldn't have to risk my life just to get some wings!!

It's a sad case when after a few drinks some people think it's ok to act like a complete jackass and intimidate and harass people, store security dropped the ball there by the sound of it, they should have been over taking control of the situation as soon as she raised her voice in anger.

Too bad the store has to suffer (and you as well of course) for an arrogant random. You should give them another chance. I speak from experience, I usually decide to never spend my money at a store again if they treat me unfairly or rudely. Because of that I am down to about three stores I will shop at. I'm forced to buy my Frosted Flakes on the street from a nefarious vendor full of chicanery.

Kelli, you come across as being a nice lady. You shouldn't be feeling like you are for something that wasn't your fault. Just forget about it. That lady might do htat to quite a bit. She might have mental health issues. You did the right thing. Some people want a reaction. If you need any advice, I'm here for support.

I am watching the tv adaption of Joe hill nos4a2 book, and i am getting annoyed by how they are using the wraith like Christine. i am finding it bizarre and just not needed. the wraith did not drive by its self or do anything like Christine does (movie christine) I am not sure if they are trying to make a character of the wraith or if they are trying to refence his dad. to me it is bizzare

It's an adaption of Joe's book with the episode writers changing this and that. Have you signed up for Joe's Newletter on the series? After each episode he talks about that episode

....however, the Wraith DOES have it's own "personality".....another parasitical set of wheels with a symbiotic relationship to it's driver.....

see in the book the only thing that is the same is the radio. the wrtih plays x-mas music and Christine plays 50's tunes. in the show its a bit over done. like the
wraith running down Jolene at night, that was just like Christine and buddy reperton in the movie and the door opening. plus the scene hen the one lady was talking about the wraith in the body shop, that could have been when arnie saw christine in lebarys yard. it seems to overt and not needed. i wonder about their motivation. plus i still go back on forth weather or not Christine is evil buy its self or it needs a ghost driver or mind to turn it evil. Christine does have powers as she can repair itself but is it evil.. i dont know

Comcast sucks.

We already know that but this was a new low. This happened last week. My mother's cable quit working and I went down there to try and get it working but I couldn't. She just had a blue screen with a number to call Comcast on her tv. So, I told her she was going to have to call the number. We all know that is the last resort that you want to do because you have to go through a couple hours of trying to explain your problem to a machine (and that doesn't work) before you can get a human. Anyway after two days of going through phone hell with Comcast, Comcast finally determined that her problem was a bad remote. The person that she was talking to her asked, "do you want me to mail you a new one or do you want to come pick it up?" My mom said she would pick it up. Mom drove to the Comcast office that is about 30 minutes from her house and it was closed. All of the Comcast offices were closed because of covid. I'm sure the person she was talking to must have known that. So, then she had to get on the phone and go through all that bs again to get someone to determine she had a bad remote and mail it to her.

The 2nd person she talked to apologized for the first person's error and then admitted to my mother that Comcast gives all the old crappy equipment to the condo people (I think that is because most of the condos negotiate bulk rates for the residents). The 2nd person sent her a brand new remote instead of a used one and it made everythig good again. I was kind of surprised a bad remote would keep your cable box from working but it will.

I've been trying to pick up stuff for mom as much as possible so she doesn't have to go out during the pandemic and would have gone to the cable office for her (and probably smashed the door when I found it closed :)) but she probably felt bad for calling me down there so much for all the cable troubles she has had lately and went herself without telling me.
