I Am Happy Today Because . . .

I happy because I got my Hair in Dreds yesterday an I look pretty now.

That sounds nice - I am due to see my hairdresser in about 4 or 5 weeks at her home (keeping my fingers crossed she will still take me in as a customer) but we will see how that goes

It's cute because he was speaking directly to children - you can pretty much say the same thing is going on in USA as well - I think your kids would enjoy watching it (but of course they might be wondering who this Prime Minister guy is lol)

The sun is shining and the weather is going to be terrific. Going to work in my yard. Maybe finally plant my garden.

Little bit of good news I have not shared yet. Brandon and Marti bought a new house. They actually have been in it for a month already.

Their house was under contract in less than a week and so it was a bit of a scramble to find something they loved and there were some mis-steps along the way but they found a great house in a great neighborhood for a really good price. It's bigger than my house! I am jealous.

I am happy for them. They were pretty cramped in their old place, with the 3 kiddos and just 2 bedrooms. It is a good thing!

How’s the man cave and what size TV are we talkin?

Man cave has been discussed. There is a nice size room with some kind of work bench installed. But I think Marti has other redecorating ideas that will come first.

Not sure if it was the guy who owned the house before or who, but someone was a huge Green Pay Packers fan. The stairs to the basement and the entire basement is carpeted in green carpet with the GB helmet logo. And the downstairs bathroom had green/gold tile. It is hideous!!

Bathroom has been redone already with a nice new floor and painted.
