I know I may not be the only one to reach this milestone here, but I couldn't think of a better place to share this news: After finishing "If it bleeds" I just finished reading all of Stephen king books ( novels, collections and non fiction, 77 in total, if I'm not mistaken). What do I do now? (apart from re-reading a few, which I have already done)? Do I unlock a secret novel only available to those that have come this far? Do I hire a someone to hypnotize me and make me forget all the books so I can reread them again?

Just to share: My first book was "The girl who loved Tom Gordon" and my favorite is probably "Lisey's Story" =]

Congratulations Imomaway! I'm in almost the same category. I haven't read 'Gwendy's Button Box' and that one he published about his college years (I think...I believe it was non-fiction and came out in the last few years). I've re-read my fair share over the years and they all hold up well to a good re-read. There are also too many other discoveries to be made to list here. Throughout my life I've more or less followed the pattern of one fiction book, one non-fiction book, then one for pure pleasure ( not that the first two wouldn't be pleasurable as well but by pure pleasure I mean a graphic novel, some picture book or coffee table book, a music book, a reread,etc....). There is something to be said about state-dependancy reading, although I make no recommendations either way, you might want to consider reading them all again under the influence of wine! :)

Well done! I’m only short Cycle of the Werewolf and Gwendy’s Button Box. There are other worlds than these though, while King is great there are always plenty of great authors out there waiting to be discovered. And King’s books always stand up a second or third time around.

You could just wait 'til you're my age... and hey presto! Memories will start falling out of your mind like rain-drops from leaky guttering.
Then I'll introduce you to this excellent new author I've just recently discovered: Stephen King!

Sigh...

Welcome to the message board. :biggrin2:

Good for you!
Why not go back and re-read your favorite books?
I think that's what I would do. :)
Welcome to the board!

....I still wanna go to Steve's kitchen.....
Maybe you still can... what's that thing called....? Uhhhhhm... (I'm really tired and a bit brain-fried, hang on it'll come to me in a minute)

Lucid Dreaming! Apparently this is a thing... you should just fly to Stephen's kitchen in a dream... and feed.
That sounds a bit vampiric, but hey... look whose kitchen it is.
