I just want to thank Stephen King for 30 years of entertainment and escape.

The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
I know that there is a slight chance that I have not read or listened to (I love audio books) every single Stephen King book, but I wouldn't bet on it. I just finished Dr. Sleep and I am in the middle of 11/22/63. I stop now to just say thank you, once again you have made me care about your characters. You can't help but get caught up in the book, because you want to save the kid that stuck in a hot car from the sick dog, or get a mom and kid away form the crazy dad, see the gun slinger to the tower (over years of traveling with him). What could be greater between a writer and a reader? If you don't love SK, it is because you have never read SK.
Very elegantly put. Welcome to the boards, enjoy the rest of 11/22/63 - it is a wonderful story. Unfortunately, some people who have never read his work just seem to hate him anyway, instant dismissal as cheap horror too low brow for them. Their loss!

Speaking of entertainment, I once stayed at a book store and finished Bag of Bones...

Do not ever copy anything down, though, or you get in 'ka-ka'.

Before I got married I was looking for good quotes to put in our marriage book - sort of a thing I put on all the tables. I guy saw me and came over - he told me it was against the law!

Wow - talk about your "Library Policeman" eh? This was in a McNally Robinson book store but I think they went out of business.
