Hi Blunthead, like your taste in movies, this was the first movie to ever show a man do something to a woman, cant remember if it was a pumkin or a cake. i think it was 'The Roaring 20'S
Was this pic taken in the Seattle area? It looks like it to me.In honor of the running of the Belmont Stakes here is a picture of my Grandmother petting " Big Red" better known as Secretariat. Alas no triple crown winner this year. I tried to upload Sunday but had problems

This is such a sweet story! Thanks for sharing it with us.I think Kentucky. It was so long ago. My cousin took our Grandmother there for a vacation due to her love of horses and she had always wanted to go. Its really a funny story. They usually didn't let you get that close. My Grandmother said they were walking him by the tour group and my Grandmother had walked away from the group to take pic of horses in the pasture. Big Red pulled the handler over to my Grandmother. he wanted to meet her I guess. She always had away with horses. They seem to know her love for them. Grandmother loved this picture because his ears are back listening to her coo to him. Grandmother asked the handler " Can I pet him?" the handler replied sure he's the boss. My cousin got a quick pic of this special moment of my Grandmother.
I think that's a grapefruit. I know of Dehavilland and her sister Joan Fontaine, but hadn't known there was a rivalry. I have a question for you: Why was there such bitterness between Olivia De Havailand and her sister. something to do with one having more oscars. Thanks!
