Hey Dana Jean - I ordered one of those ancestry kits, and I'm kinda scared to do it.

Probably will have frog genes or something.
No, it's very cool. And fun. You will have great fun finding out your ancestors . And even then, you won't know all because you didn't get everything. DNA is handed down differently to different people, so that's why they say you should get your siblings and relatives tested. DNA can dilute, or just stopped being passed down through you, but a sister might still have it. It gives a bigger picture of your ethnicity the more family you can get to submit spit.

I have had a lot of fun with it.

When I was really young, around 8 or 9 I wanted my name changed to Dianne. I drove my father
crazy asking if he would call me that. But I like my name (Alexandra Lynne). It somehow got shortened
to Sandy in high school which I don't mind but once in awhile some one calls me Alexandra and it gives
me a good feeling inside. I guess because my father picked out my name and I thought the world of him and still miss him after all this time.
