Oh shoot oh shoot. Do you recall the Trailer Park Vampire video I posted in the music thread? Well TPV is a like of mine on Facebook and I asked if I could use some of his music in one of my shows and he said yes and then checked out the link to my show and liked the opening sequence and asked who shot it because he was looking for someone to shoot his next video. I did all that. I sat with a guy at the station and added the darker tone and Jonathan picked the music (which was perfect) but everything else was mine. I told him I'm not professional and this is not my day job and maybe he should get in touch with Mike who does this for a living. They both live in Memphis anyway.
It was a great compliment and I know some of you will be disappointed in me but I just could not shoot a music video. I don't have that kind of time and hell, I'm just shooting this on a Sony Handycam. I don't even have an external mike. I'm inexperienced as a nun at an orgy. I have ideas and know how I want things to look but that's about it. He did offer to be on my show and I may take him up on that. I want him to know it's just shot out of an unused bedroom and sent Wetransfer to the station and nothing professional about it. Just trying to stitch a silk purse out of a sows ear here. I mean, I'm sure there are enough invalids and lunatics who won't get up to change the channel but it's not a wide coverage area. I don't want to lead him on with any claims of slick production.
