Ralph Roberts was the second character that made me cry. Wolf being the first.
Good old Wolf. I think that he is the reason why House Stark is my favorite on GOT.

My top 5 Stephen King characters (in no particular order)
1. Ralph Roberts
2. Wireman
3. Rhea of the Coos (was there every any King character as malicious as Rhea?)
4. Cuthbert Allgood
5. Henry Leyden (the coolest of the cool)

Well if you're gonna put it that way...

Nah - decaf coffee is okay plus I like turkey bacon

I am not a die hard however - ran out of decaf and did drink one cup of McCafe regular coffee made in my Tassimo - I just prefer not to have caffeinated coffee as a rule, since it does a number on my kidneys :adoration: - it keeps me running to the bathroom! :run_pig:

I wasn't big on Rose Madder. It was my least favorite out of the 'Wife trilogy' he did. Dolores Claiborne is in my top ranking of his work. I think Gerald's Game, while not most fav, is certainly one of the more scary pieces he's ever done. I haven't gotten to Regulators and Desperation yet. They are on the shelf, though.

Ones I didn't gel with as much? Revival, Doctor Sleep, Rose Madder, and IT.

I suppose the most surprising out of those is IT. I know I might catch a lot of flak for that one. The concept itself is brilliant and on that level I love the book. It is almost surprising nobody else thought of it first. Yet, something about it did not CLICK. Of course, this is an Insomnia thread and hate to get off topic. I could discuss this more in detail. Please, note - did not hate IT. I love the concept, Richie's cool, history of the town is enthralling, coming age stories are great. A lot to love IT.

I understand what makes IT great and why people love it, but out of his like most popular THREE. The Shining, The Stand, and IT. IT was my least fav.

My favorites so far are, in no particular order, Different Seasons, The Talisman, 11/22/63, The Shining and Wizard and Glass
Do you think you will check out the new movie, when IT hits the big screen?

Yeah, of course. It looks great!

I'm skipping Dark Tower, though. I don't really mind if they changed stuff or the idea of it being another level of the tower, and in no way could I do better at a DT script. It is a very hard piece to adapt, but after Jackson's adaptation of LOTR and HBO's adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) - I think we and other people demand a much higher quality of fantasy adaptation these days.
