The controversial subject of 11/22/63 has resulted in 2 sides.. I am one side.. the majority on this board is on the other ..What have I got you say? Regarding JFK I have offered links.. videos ..which are there for the viewing ..someone responded that I must believe in other conspiracy theories as well. I responded then to the subject they suggested of 911 which I think I have offered up some valid questions to the official story only lightly touching on that topic, which has nothing to do with JFK. Now you have brought up another multi-tiered subject in freemasonry and a higher power.. freemasonry I have little knowledge of as I have not studied it.. I have ran across it.. a higher power is a subject I am interested in perse.. like what happens after you die .. are there consequences to a persons actions etc..... after being raised a mormon and feeling first hand what I took as hypocrisy and rejecting it I have done much soul searching and research.. one thing resonated with me and I have studied it extensively.. I will not offer it up for attack here .. You are well written, articulate and serious minded when you choose to be on here and I feel I have responded in kind right now.. in spite of the numerous complaints I received both publicly and in private from my last reply to your post that basically boiled my position down to what is acceptable here that conspiracy believers are by nature kooks.. which on here being in the minority goes with out complaint by the majority. For example on another post a person responded to my serious reply with a picture of his self and his cat with rather made tinfoil hats on their heads (it was actually funny) ..that they were necessary before he could examine what I put forth as serious information... that was well cheered on and applauded by the majority. There were no complaints. I quite expect to be attacked as well for this reply... a serious question to your belief.. you do not see a grand intelligence behind creation? .. for example the concept of sight and then the creation of an eye to implement it .. sexual procreation to advance into the future all species and being tied in with pleasure and beauty ..are they just random happen chances to you?
i personally believe that within the universe is both chaos
and order.
They can both exist together, or they can exist separately.
It's like what happens with all of human society.
first, there are only humans and there are no laws an governments, only anarchy. This is chaos. As time goes on, bad things happen so laws and rules are created to combat it. This is how order is created.
eventually all governments become inundated by ginormous amounts of laws, and thus the government, regardless of what form it initially started out as, becomes a tyranny.
Eventually people get tired of living in a tyranny, then they rebel and all of society and government breaks down into anarchy. Which is chaos.
That is the way of things.
A black hole, is both order and chaos. It is very possible that planets and life can not form without them, since there is one at the center of this galaxy. But it has huge chaotic effects on the surrounding space. They say not even light can escape, but some black holes have incredibly large streams of x rays emitted from its center. Chaos and order. order to chaos.
An asphalt road is also a good metaphor for order and chaos existing together.
Fire is a destroyer, but it also clears away old stuff so that new life can form. Pine cones need high temperatures to release their seeds when animals don't get at them.
it is my own personal belief that conspiracy believers are irrational to some degree. Because they can not accept that they just might be wrong and might have badly misinterpreted the things they have come across. Many of them, no matter how respectively or tactfully they are treated, get incredibly upset over mere disagreements because they expect people to just accept their words without any form of critical thinking and launch into personal attacks. That is irrational.
Keeping an open mind must work both ways. That means one msut be objective and fair, and a lot of conspiracy believers just are not. Many of them are liars and downright dishonest people. A lot of these beliefs do not hold any real water when they are truly objectively and fairly examined. Not to mention they suffer from a huge a mount of confirmation bias.
For example, people who go on about Puma Punku being aliens did it often ignore things like tools that were left there and rope marks on the stone. They ignore other forms of archeological evidence on the great pyramids of Giza and other pyramids of egypt. For instance....
going on about the age of the Sphinx and it must have been water erosion.
They ignore that the Sphinx has had to be repaired several times in the 1900s because of damage by wind and sand erosion, and that form of erosion can be mistaken for water erosion. Such as:
QUOTE
Thutmosis was the first to help preserve the Sphinx. He did this by:
1) After clearing away the sand in the precinct, he built the protective mud brick walls around the Sphinx to protect it from wind and sand.
2) He discovered that the Sphinx was damaged and that the old kingdom stones were falling down. He put them back in their original places, and may have commissioned more.
3) He brought a granite stela from Aswan and inscribed the story known as the dream story.
To Ramesses II may be attributed the two stelae between the two front paws of the Sphinx and the other artifacts inscribed with his name that were found there. The existence of these objects suggests that he may also have engaged in restoration activities at the Sphinx, such as replacing some of the fallen stones that had been restored by Thutmosis IV. Ramses's son, Kha-em-wase, known as the first Egyptologist and restorer, may also have restored the sphinx in the same manner as his father. The Turin papyrus mentions that workmen in the time of Ramesses lI took stone for Hor-m-mn-nfr. Some scholars have recognized in this name the Sphinx's name Horoun, one of the names used in the New kingdom to refer to the Sphinx. Artifacts attributed to other kings, e.g., Ay, Horemheb, Seti I, and Merenptah, have also been discovered in the area of the Sphinx, but there is no evidence to suggest these kings sponsored any restorations of that great monument.

But uh, 15,000 years ago, right?
Objectivity and fairness means that you base your conclusions on the research and the results, not on what you want to, or don't' want to believe. That is being fair and open minded.
One of the most weakest arguments that these believers use basically is thusly: if it looks like something then it must be that something and it can't be anything else. Respect my authoritay.
So I'm sorry, while I am not entirely closed off to these ideas, I highly prefer more down to earth conclusions and evidence, and will always view many believers as being irrational and either honestly mistaken or down right liars and scam artists.
I have nothing more to say to you.
