My second name is the same as my father's first. My nephew has a first, second and third name before his surname. In his case, his second name is the same as mine and my father's first (sorry to make it sound like a riddle ).
I only know one person without a second name, tbh, and I remember thinking his parents were weird when he first told me.

In the military if we came across a person with only one name we always put ONO [stands for one name only] after their name. So essentially all these people were suddenly named after John Lennon's wife!
