Or Cujo himself?
Since I just read a post by someone who didn't want to give away the ending away I thought I shouldn't either, but I think you know who I mean.
In the movie version of The Dark Tower, there are numerous Easter Eggs. One is "Cujo" , or at least a St. Bernard who looks like him, being a walked down the street by a woman who resembles Donna Trenton, and a small boy (who is barely visible) who appears to be Tad.
Before the movie came out SK was quoted as saying that Cujo shows up in the movie. The "reference" looks as though it may be there to merely remind viewers of Cujo. But King actually calls the dog that. It can't be the same Cujo (or Donna or Tad) as in the novel since it took place back in the eighties. But then, in the world or movie, just who were this similar people?
The Dark Tower also has a different Jake, because the Jake from the book lived back in the seventies, and the movie takes place in the cell phone age. Not to mention that this Jake is older, and a don't recall there was ever any mention of SK's Jake having powers or being a breaker.
I do recall though, that at the end of the "final" DT novel, the spirits of Roland's Ka-Tet merge with likenesses of themselves in an alternate New York. Oy was now a small dog (making him a different, though similar species). Jake's last name was now Torrin. Jake Chambers died in Keystone earth, which supposedly meant he couldn't comeback in another world as he'd done before. What did happened was stranger, though. Did this other version of Jake exist already? And most importantly was, or to what degree, were the two Jakes the same? Is it safe to say that Jake was brought back yet again? Or was it, since the Ka-Tet might not have had memories of their previous lives. Maybe it's another Jake, but so similar it's essentially a reincarnation of the kid who flung himself in front of the van. If so, he might well be considered the same as this:
Expy - TV Tropes
Which brings me back to the Tadder. Was that an alternate version of him walking down the street in another New York? If not, then who was it? Perhaps the same thing happened to Tad as happened to Jake.
