The only Steve King book I have a problem with, in terms of endings, is TDT Series.

i rember when the author charlane harris when her last sookie stackhouse book, that was turned into the tv show true blood so this was book 12, even before it whent on sale like a week or a few days before it was reveilved that the main character sookie did not end up with or married the vampire eric nothram, and people where pissed off, threatend to kill her, and it hevially affected the sales number for the book. she was so heart broken, it was not even funny. i felt so bad for her and i loved the book ending, she was true to the character. it was such a dumb reaction. same thing with starwars fans

How is it the same with Star Wars fans?

The difference with that and Star Wars is that you actually had the creator, Charlane Harris, giving you the ending. The reason why we don't accept the ending of the Star Wars saga is because George Lucas wasn't involved. Plus, a ton of characters don't act the same in the original series than they would in the newer films. I wouldn't condone any attacks on authors, after all it is just fiction, I'm not going to attack Rian Johnson because his opinion of fictional characters differed from me. That is just stupid. But you should be allowed to express your opinion in a respectful manner.

A: George Lucas had an outline of 9 films and have them to Disney, although I’m sure a lot was lost in translation

B: The problem isn’t opinions, it’s the people who harassed and sent death threats to people involved, I know you stated this alreadt, but I think that is the point of Hill lover35 ‘s post

People were upset about the Game of Thrones ending?

I haven't seen it yet, but have not had major spoilers. I'm still in the previous season. I do like the show, but it is rather slow moving apart from the really big episodes. It's only the second time I stalled though, I will finish it. The last season is also priced higher than usual (50 rather than the usual 40 euro - no idea why), so I'm waiting for that to drop a bit in the meantime.

That's ridiculous of course. But it shows how incredibly much it means to people. Some people's whole life revolves around it.

Won’t say anymore and sorry for my previous post about the two brothers...
