Okay, I don't watch television 24-7 but do watch shows in the evening and I have only seen one (yes, that's 1!!!) ad on television for It Chapter 2. I watch ABC mostly but switch to CBS and NBC occasionally. Am I missing all the ads for the new movie? It's opens this week so you would think that there would be hype going on to build interest.

If you want to get your movie trailer noticed these days, you'll have much better luck with youtube than tv channels. Although I do remember seeing ads for part 1 on recordings back during the months prior to its release.

I've seen lots. I can't get ABC so I can't say for them but I'm seeing them mostly on cable channels, especially FXX. The cast was on Conan when he was broadcasting from Comic-Con last month. This is Bill Hader (they split this up into several bits. If you watch this the others will appear in the side bar).

Pennywise looks really sassy in that thumbnail

I saw television ads for Part 1 constantly before the movie opened.

I watch tv quite a bit between peak hours and I've only seen the preview twice on I think ABC. This isn't abnormal these days, I didn't see one preview for the first half of the film back when it was about to come out. These days a lot of studios feel it makes more sense to promote their films and shows more on social media sites than TV because they want the young audience and they aren't into network tv like the old days, they stream on Netflix and spend a lot of time on Youtube and social media sites, so the advertising money is being spent on social media sites more than network tv. And I got that from a studio guy I know so I'm not just guessing.
