I think certain SKMBers who live nearby should be allowed to appear as extras, if they'd choose to. If they've got the guts. Mod?

Might like to visit the set if they film it here but doubt I'd have the time to appear as an extra especially if it was during a work day. I think Robert Gray would be perfect for it, though!I think certain SKMBers who live nearby should be allowed to appear as extras, if they'd choose to. If they've got the guts. Mod?
I was thinking that they might just use film from here as B roll footage.I read that they were planning to film in NY. Maybe they just want to see the original inspirations for things in the film so they can recreate them elsewhere.

Hey! What about me? If they had decided to film here I sooo would have been stalking the set...Because he now lives here in Bangor and is extremely knowledgeable about the book.
I don't know how to feel about this. I don't even know who this guy is which could be an advantage in some way. He looks very young but I suppose if they do the make up right it could work. I just can't picture anyone other than Tim Curry so I think anyone they ended up picking I would have to scrutinize.
I would love a better production of IT. I think Hollywood has finally recognized it dare not marginalize sK anymore (it loves the cash too much, being one reason), and would contribute handsomely to the investment. Hollywood, or some more independent agency, knows how to make a good movie and would find IT, despite it's epicness, a reasonable challenge.Well if they remake IT they better do it justice. I wish they wouldn't unless there is some big budget production that lets Stephen king do the screen play however he wants. I just don't see today's movie makers doing it justice.
I just cant imagine. WHO WILL BE PENNYWISE!!!! will they flashback to the childhoods properly. Will it take away the scary if they do IT wrong. IT is just one thing I really REALLY don't want to see f'd up. I have personal attachment to this book. I have been able to re read IT over again without IT getting old and if they make the movie again I will have no choice but to see it and then if it blows... when I go to read IT again the movie images will pop into my mind instead of my imagination playing the book. I know this because some how Tom Cruise got his grubby little hands on the Jack Reacher role and I have only been able to read one Jack Reacher novel since then and I cant picture Reacher as anything other then Tom Cruise. And I am not in anyway comparing Jack reacher novels to KING novels that's like comparing uuuuuuuh I don't know things not in the same playing field.I would love a better production of IT. Will Poulter has been chosen to play the role of Pennywise if the production gets made. That seems to still be on the fence.I just cant imagine.
