I have just started re-reading my favorite SK books in the order of my preference. Finished The Stand and can honestly say that I wish he had just added the additional content and not tried to change the time line from 1980 to 1990.
I am now reading It. It, to my knowledge, outside of a 25th anniversary edition, has not been added to. Is that your understanding as well?
Of all the books, this one always left me wondering what happened to the characters after the end of the book. Did Mike finally get some financial rewards like the others? Did all of them that lived forget? Did they really kill "It"? Could there possibly be a sequel?

Scott, there is a 1,400 page sequel hidden in the cabinet under the sink in his kitchen, of which you shall never enter.....;;D
That is good to know! I think Gnt has the basement staked out for his territory,I have the attic..I slop down to the kitchen round midnightish every evening for a dagwood sandwich and glass of milk,I may just check under the sink for that draft..and also leave a note for Mrs K,for a little cappicola for the sandwiches, she always goes too heavy on pickle loaf and salami when she shops cold cuts.. sigh..

Make sure you leave treats for Molly, or else she'll sound the alarm!

Same here. I don't get the constant clamoring for sequels... new stories, please.
I didn't particularly want a sequel to The Shining and only jest about an IT sequel, but if it has the name Stephen King on the front (from his current publisher) then I'm probably going to read it. Original ideas preferred.
