Yes, indeed! There was a lot of false labor leading up to delivery but once he decided it was time, it went fast. The nurses called it a "drive-by delivery" as it was only 15 minutes from the time he was officially admitted to when he was born.
They'd been in the hospital maybe 25 minutes total. My daughter was in labor but thought she still had plenty of time so went to work and stayed there until 7 PM, drove the 45 minutes back to her house and her water broke just as she was turning onto her street. A bit of a panic situation when she got here getting her husband and their hospital bags but fortunately the hospital is only about 10 minutes away. He was born at 8:25 PM. Had she stayed much longer at work, she would have been having the baby by the side of the road!
