That's almost assuredly what happened. Or the person didn't have kids to pass the books on to. Blake was the lucky recipient. Ka is a wheel. :)

Very true, or some one decided they did not whant all his books but that is odd. I work at a goodwill in canada and you can always tell when some one has died, old books from the 60’s and just stuff that is dated, oh and smell also. Like the old dusty smell

I would much rather see a family donate the books to thrift or school, or whatever. I had a neighbor who "downsized". Was using my dumpster(had approval). books!!!! just thrown away.:facepalm_smiley: Can't tell you how many I rescued , kept or donated.
