I should have picked up the one I found at Goodwill for $1.99 and sent it to you. It scared me, just standing there reading the first couple of pages, so I didn't get it. And when I went back it was gone. The first scene of the book was disturbing.I really liked HSB and Horns. I really really really want to read NOS4ATU!!! Just can't afford it. I also would like to read his short story collection, but its hard to find around here. Lock and Key seems cool, too.
So would you recommend Heart Shaped Box then? NOS4A2 is the first and only book of his that I have read. I noticed they had a couple of his books at our local library recently in hardcover....I really enjoyed Heart Shaped Box, but NOS4A2..is second
Yip, don't put too much thought into it; just read em!So would you recommend Heart Shaped Box then? NOS4A2 is the first and only book of his that I have read. I noticed they had a couple of his books at our local library recently in hardcover.
I have a huge crush on Joe (I've admitted this on the boards before). He's pretty darn cute! You are as boy crazy as me Neesy! They're all cute in one way or another!
I loved Heart Shaped Box....really good horror tale.So would you recommend Heart Shaped Box then? NOS4A2 is the first and only book of his that I have read. I noticed they had a couple of his books at our local library recently in hardcover.
That's it - tomorrow - off to the library to see if they have it! If not I will order it online from another branchI loved Heart Shaped Box....really good horror tale.
...no library pun intended, but without reservation...it gives a good case of the creeps....So would you recommend Heart Shaped Box then? NOS4A2 is the first and only book of his that I have read. I noticed they had a couple of his books at our local library recently in hardcover.
I just finished Twittering from the Circus of the Dead (I thought it was creepy but hilarious!). One question about the title though: shouldn't it be "Tweeting" and not "Twittering"? I do neither so I'm not really in the know, but I thought "tweeting" was the correct term. No?I've read 20th Century Ghosts, and the three novels, plus a couple shorts on the Kindle, Thumbprint, Twittering from the Circus of the Dead, etc. And some of the stuff he's written w/ SK. Haven't read the Locke and Key yet, though I want them. I'd have to say that Heart-Shaped Box was actually my favorite of the novels, though I really liked the others as well. But I got attached to Jude
Much better than twerking that's for sure (and I don't tweet either) - I might have "tittered" as an adolescent, howeverI just finished Twittering from the Circus of the Dead (I thought it was creepy but hilarious!). It's good to be back here, too. But, it is difficult to actually get get signed in to the new version of the Board. I added it to my 'favorites' list on my computer so hopefully it will pull up the new version instead of the old one. If it pulls up the old one it takes me awhile to figure out how to get to the new version, which is a little frustrating.exposed knee cap, eh? Glad to see you back here
