I saw this on Facebook. Frasier is one of my favorite shows. From what I've read about him he lived a full and happy life.
Awww no, he was so great in Frasier. R.I.P...
So sad to see this last night. I've been on a huge Frasier kick lately, too, watching on Hulu for the past several weeks. 
RIP-- enjoyed him on Frasier.
What a bummer. I especially liked Mr. Mahoney in Say Anything and Eight Men Out. 2 characters on completely different ends of the spectrum.

For years after my dad's passing, i couldn't watch any 'Frasier' episodes because John Mahoney reminded me too much of him. Two years ago, i finally started watching the reruns again and was able smile at Mahoney's sharp wit, sarcasm, his dark humor... this guy in his flannel shirts who even looks a little like my pop... i could watch and laugh instead of cry.
Thank you, John Mahoney... through you i was able to spend a little more time with my dad. You were loved & you'll be missed. I just wish it didn't feel as though i were losing him all over again.

R.I.P. Mr. Mahoney. You were a great comedic actor and also a great serious one. Thanks for the laughter. You made your mark on the world and we thank you for it.
