Never seen it. I read the book years ago. Was it a screenplay instead of a book? I can't remember. I will look for it on the Netflix.
It is based on Cycle of the Werewolf, which was more of a graphic novel/comic book rather than a standard novel. I have it.....lots of wonderfully gruesome pictures lol.
There was a version published that contained both The Cycle Of The Werewolf and the actual screenplay that King wrote. The book was called Silver Bullet. Here's the cover:

Myself and my partner, Shirley, watched it when I got home from work last night. Happy to say we both enjoyed it and, even though it was released in 1985, it seemed to stand the test of time.
Gary Busey was his manic best and the acting all round was pretty good.
The Werewolf looked a bit dodgy to be honest but it was state-of-the-art at the time, I suppose :biggrin2:

I thought it was a decent werewolf movie, that didn't try to copy the other movies (The Howling and American Werewolf in London)in big budget transformation effects, and was better for it ..
Yes,it was kinda silly in parts, but still a decent movie

My biggest critque for the movie is I do think the Werewolf itself looks more like a bear, but it's still a good movie in my opinion.

At times it does look like a werebear.

I can't remember, did the priest ever give a reason as to why he killed the kid? He said the others were sinners and the ones in the woods, that was sorta self defense since they were hunting him down but the kid, all he did was stay out late, is that a sin?

I think the line goes something like "I think he'll come for me--not just because I know what he is--but because I hurt him"..."You're telling me that a man who took a rocket in the eye three nights ago is out here paintin' a thermometer!?":peace:

Maybe he just didn't like kids but if they had both been out that night that means he'd have killed both, I assume. The only reason Marty wasn't there was because his sister dragged him home.
