Went to the bank yesterday because I had heard some branches are closing

I hope everyone is making the best of their time at home

Lately I have been using my "The Looneyspoons Collection" cook book to try lots of new recipes.

The library doesn't want it back until at least May 1st (but that could change)

I wanted to let all the mods on the SKMB know that I very much appreciate all that all of you do here. This place has been and continues to be such a wonderful haven for SK fans like myself and others. Ms. Mod, Flake, Tery, Jordan, and that crazy hooker DJ, you all don't get enough credit for doing such great job here. When the sun has set on this place for the last time, all of you should know that you did it right. You kept house in a very cool place and you all did it extremely professionally and competently and I very much appreciate all that you all have done to make the place such a nice port of call for SK fans all over the world. All you mods are cool cats and some us know that and are very appreciative of that fact. All of you have a good week, Ms. Mod, thank you for always running such a good ship and making it a nice place to visit then, now, and always.

Thank you. That is really nice to see as it can be a thankless job at times. The volunteer moderators are the ones who deserve this the most as they've given of their free time in order to keep the Board open when I'm off the clock. At least I get paid to do it so all part of what I'm supposed to be doing anyway. Not sure why, but they often aren't given the same level of respect (maybe because of my direct connection to Steve? dunno) even when they're doing the same thing I would have done had I been on line at the time. So from me to them a big thank you, Dana Jean FlakeNoir and Tery, for taking the heat when you've had to enforce the Board rules to keep this a safe and welcoming place for people to gather.

True - I have even seen some newbies give you a hard time until you let them know you've worked with Mr. King for about 30 years (then they shut up)

Yup. Shouldn't matter, though. We're all just doing what we're supposed to be doing to maintain Board civility and PG rules regardless of the SK connection. That's not directed at you personally, just a general comment. :)

Add that to the list of why you wouldn't be a moderator here. :)
On a serious note though. How is it you pick Moderators. I know my chances are well and truly gone. :) I was just wondering, were they memebers who could be trusted? Or does Steve have a file of candidates in a cave somewhere in Florida, which him and Randall Flagg muse over. Well ... I was serious for a little bit.
