Happy Hump Day!

Busy day. Kids have early release today so I'm going to take Ty to get his hair cut then try to get groceries before I have to be home to take Evan to work. Sigh. Run, run, run.

Just about 2 months to graduation, starting to freak out about that. Trying to get a plan going for the reception. I will do the cake myself. Have a big sheet cake pan that looks like an open book. The mascot is a thunderbolt, so that will be easy peasy to do. Thinking of doing like pulled pork or something similarly easy that can be cooked in crock pot. The timing is going to be the hardest thing, the ceremony is at 5 pm and will go until around 8. So do the reception before the ceremony? After seems late, especially for out of town relatives who may not be able to stay overnight.

This was Brandon's cake that I did for his graduation. Not bad for freehand with a toothpick! So same for Evan except blue and silver and a thunderbolt. And the word Bolts above it.

Will be much easier to draw the thunderbolt than the camel! But will be the camel again in a few short years for Ali and Ty.

Hope you have a great day. Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

How about I come before and after the ceremony. I like pulled pork and cake.
