We have 3 of them. We call them bears. They are adorable except one bites. Actually none are mine but I do get to care for them when the family goes road tripping. I’m not much for road tripping. We also have 2 dogs and 2 bearded dragons. The dragons are definitely not mine! Feeding cockroaches and squirming worms is no picnic for a girly girl like me.

I am nearly at my 40 for the week already, so I have to kill 2 hours - I'm going on a long shoe shopping lunch.

Did you all know there is another remake of A Star is Born coming out? Woohoo! Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga! I loved the Streisand/Kristofferson version. Which made me think: who on the board met Kris Kristofferson? We had a thread long ago about celebrity sightings, and it seems like the story was that the almighty Kristofferson offered them his seat on an airplane, but I might be wrong about that. And I think it was one of our Canadian friends ??? Anyone know?
Anyhow - yay!!

Meet the dragons:

This is just a lookalike. For some reason, the actual photos I took of the dragons didn’t fit in this post. They are about a foot long now. The dragons, not my photos. This image looks more like Ima-car-ah. I think that’s his name. Misspelled but that’s how you pronounce it. I think. Dragons and I don’t share that “special bond” that many people and dragons do. But they’re cool with that.

About 20+ years ago I attended some function in The Woodlands, Texas and saw The Highwaymen performing on a stage. It was all outdoors and I could have reached out and touched the toe of Kris Kristofferson’s boot or the fringe of Willie Nelson’s jacket. They were just people. At the time, I didn’t swoon and wasn’t feeling giddy just to see them up close like that. But the memory is very sweet.

Great Weekend!!

Been a busy week for me. My boyfriend went to North yesterday, is his turn to have the children. And I am off from work this weekend, so I really going to
enjoy my time. Take it easy and rest and just do all kind of fun things. I finally get time with Star too and with the dogs.

It's a Pride weekend here in my hometown. Tomorrow they have a march, but I am not going to attend. It's the first time so we'll see how it works out. Hopefully well, even if there has been people against it.

It's get warm again. Forecast says sun for tomorrow. And thunderstorm for Sunday. Today it's been crazy weather. A horrible storm, we was afraid that some
trees are coming down, but thankfully it calm down now on the evening.
