Going to India for the first time.

I love traveling, but it's not a perfect thing. The things I don't like about traveling, when I encounter them, are:

1. Relentless crowding.
2. Oppressive heat.
3. Wretched poverty.

I think I'm about to hit the trifecta. That's fine. I got all of this in Nigeria too. But if anyone's been to India and has some advice, I'm all ears. Or in a visual communication world, all eyes.

Never been, but am sending safe travel vibes. Be watchful and enjoy the adventure.

Happy Friday!

Have the littles coming later. Going to make some salt dough for them to make some ornaments for Mom and Dad for Christmas. Hopefully they keep quiet about it! They both like to spill secrets. ;-D If we can get them made today, next week when they come, they can paint them.

Have a great weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

....very few of the men and women who lived through this day are still with us....but I salute them just the same!.....

My father, who served in WWII, had a friend who lost a leg in the Pearl Harbor attack. I remember one fishing trip to Canada him telling me the story of having the tourniquet applied to his leg and being pulled to safety from of the bowels and darkness of ship by fellow sailors who cared more for others than their own well being.

As much as I'm sure you're right about this trifecta, I'm super jealous. India is one place I want to visit but am almost certain I never will as my migraines and anxiety prohibit traveling places with so much pollution and so many crowds. I can already smell the gas fumes just thinking about it but still, there's so much beauty there and THE FOOD...OMG YUM!! I hope you're able to overcome the obstacles and have a good trip!

Finally got my lab results. Now I'm too far the other way. :stfu:

Nurse asked me how I feel and I said I feel soooo much better. I said this dose has always been the one I feel the best on but my numbers never show that. She asked if I wanted to stay on this dose and I said YES! So she will relay everything to the Doc and see what he says.

I swear. It is enough to set me off crying again. I HATE this thyroid rollercoaster. :doubt:

You know your body best. Results and norms are only numbers.

I know this drill well. I'm so sorry you're going through it but glad you're feeling better and I hope they will let you stay where you're at!

cat in a bag, don't they usually recommend the drug that allows you to feel better. It just seems so logical (as Mr. Spock would say).
You would think so, wouldn't you? This new doctor did tell me at my checkup that he would be inclined to leave me at this dose even if I was outside the range a bit. I hope he remembers saying that.
