They got to go home Saturday. Enjoyed a bit longer than the standard 24 hours because it was still so bitter cold. Doc said no sense sending them home in the dark and cold. I took the other 2 littles home and got to watch them meet their new little brother.

I have gotten some cuddle time in but just little snatches of it, trying to leave them be and adjust to the new normal. I have taken meals over, on Sunday and Monday and he is a cuddlebug!! But they are on their own today for food. :biggrin-new::biggrin-new: I know they will ask if they need something!

Everyone is doing great! Marti is still just glowing and feeling pretty good. Looks really great too. Kiddos already love him to bits and of course Brandon is over the moon. He is such a good daddy. :love_heart:

Okay. can I be a dork? This teared me up. Just the memories of all these changes. All these people surrounding this one new little boy. I love that Cat. Many happy happy days to you all.

I would absolutely love to be able to volunteer at a hospital in the newborn unit just rocking babies. I have thought about it. But then, how do you approach them and not sound creepy that you want to hold babies? bwhahahahaha!

Aww. Not a dork!

I spent a bunch of time bawling on Saturday night after I took the littles home. Bawled my eyes out. All evening! Just from the gamut of emotions. Happiness, relief, little bit of "they don't need me anymore!"

But then they asked me to cook for a couple days. ;-D

It is an emotional time. ;)

Find the head of volunteers-- most places are in dire need of volunteers.
