Good morning!

It is beautiful here this morning. Birds are chirping, smells nice and fresh outside. I am out of coffee but sitting on the swing with a glass of tea sounds wonderful. Too bad I have a very long list of chores to get through today.

I'm getting no where this morning.

Marti texted early and said they would be over. They just put their townhouse on the market and there are several showings today from 10-2:30. So she has to be out of the house. So I quick ran to the pharmacy to pick up meds and vacuumed my living room. She still isn't here yet, so she must have had errands or maybe took kiddos to the park first.

So I am kind of at a stand still because I don't like to leave something unfinished once I start and I don't want to be rude and clean once they get here. (That's my excuse anyway. ) I'm not even progressing on my laundry...just went down to switch loads and forgot to shut the washer last time. So it drained without doing a thing. Restarted it and shut the stupid lid.

Cookie is good. We took the bandage off and she promptly scratched two spots open again. But she seems to be leaving them alone now. We have not rebandaged her or put a collar back on her yet.

But her personality is roaring back. She is her playful, curious self again. She still won't walk on the basement floor sometimes! But she seems to be slowly getting over that, too. Silly kitty!
