Good morning!

Thank you for all the well wishes, I am feeling better finally. All kinds of germy stuff working through town already. Have Ty home with me today. I think he probably would have been ok to go to school, but better safe than sorry. Alison is the only one in school today, Evan is out hunting with Scott.

We added to our family this weekend. We got a bloodhound pup. We have named her Lily and she is already 100% at home with us. I will post pics in the puppy thread!

Hope everyone is doing fine. Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

Manifesting for good results. Calming vibes too.
Got two more months, until after new year. In the meantime they would hunt around in the budget for some money that could be spent on me.They want to but have difficulties finding money in these, at least here, times when economy is slowly going down after being up for awhile. So i can at least celebrate christmas with a job.

The battery backup for my computer died Sunday and I went online to find a new one. Before I go to a store when I have a specific item in mind, I like to go to the store's website to find out what they have in my local store before I go. That way, if the store closest to me doesn't have what I want, I can go to the next closest. Anyway, I went to the Staples website and found the backup I wanted and it was on sale for $79 and it was also in the local store. I went to the store and the price was $102 and when I tried to get the battery backup for $79, the store would not let me do it. So, I went home and checked the website to make sure I was looking at the same battery backup that was in the store and it was. There was an option on the website to buy it online and pick it up in the store. so, I bought it online for $79 and went back to the same store and got it. WTH!!!

I’ve had the same thing happen to me at Staples where the price in the store is different than the online price. They told me they’re two separate entities so they can't honor the online price, but as with you they said I can order it online at the cheaper price and pick it up at the store. So the store fills the online order with their own inventory but can't charge the price and get credit for the inventory they're fulfilling the order with? Have you ever heard of anything so asinine?

hello everyone. did everyone have a wonderful Canadian thanksgiving? i did and ate lots of turkey while trying to get rid of my cold. and got my flue shot so i would not catch caption trips
I found out last Saturday that it was Thanksgiving weekend. Monday off!!!! Thankfully, foodwise, I only need to show up where I'm told to go. We went to the kids on Sunday and I ended up with a bit of a meat coma. Couldn't even make room for Pumpkin pie and whipping cream! (I had some the next day).

Oh yeah, I've experienced this lots of places. Even with hotels. We are Hilton Honors members and earn points to cheaper rates and even free rooms. Can't walk in and use our points even when using our rewards card, we must book online to get the discounts.
