Who was the idiot that invented childsafe caps on medicine? I got a prescription today and it was IMPOSSIBLE to open it!! I had to attack it with my kitchenknife, and almost nicked an artery!, before i managed to open it and get to my very necessary medicine. ARRRGHHH!

Don't know about over there, but here you can request your prescription not be put into bottles with child-safe caps.

Glad to see you on the mend cat in a bag !!

Hill lover35 I hope you get a call back today!!

GNTLGNT

I'm working from home today - I've got some personal appointments interfering with my work day, so best to stay put. My crown fell out last night -well, actually a mouthful of Milk Duds pulled it out. I'm shameless with the candy addiction after Halloween. It's far enough in the back of my mouth that you can only see it when I laugh. And it doesn't hurt - I think I had a root canal with it. I don't want to see my dentist today. I'm kind of mad at him. He's a friend as well, so we bicker sometimes and had a spat a few months ago. Bah.

I have to get my flu shot. I love my nurse practitioner and can't wait to see her. She's always got good practical advice. One of the best things she's ever told me was to wash my nose out. Do any of you do this? Every morning in the shower, just tilt your head up, get some warm water inside your nose (not up it, just barely inside) and use your fingers and scrub the snot out. Apparently there's lots of nastiness in there. Give it a try. Also - take your vitamins in the morning. I used to take mine at bedtime and she told me that I was wasting the energy and feel-good benefits of a multi-vitamin by doing that. Take them in the morning with a protein packed breakfast and some orange juice.

OK - that's my PSA for the day. Be well, y'all. If you have a moment - say a little prayer or send me some good vibes. My mom has a diagnostic test today - I'm not too worried, but she is. And I'm taking her - so I need some patience and resilience - it makes her feel good to make me feel bad - I'm certain that's why she wants me to go and not my sister. I don't want her to be sick though. Please, God, no.

Y'all be cool!
Prayers for mom.Keeping you both in my thought today.

Hi everyone,

Thank you all again for the get well wishes. I am finally feeling like myself again, still having coughing fits at random times but I feel ever so much better. Scott came down with it too, we both went to the dr. I had been fighting it for 2 wks and he had been for 3 days. We both were put on antibiotics. It was a nasty little germ and I pray that is all the sickness this winter! It knocked me flat down. Scott is feeling better too. Still fighting the exhaustion part of it but he is better, too.

Wanted to get here earlier today but had Spencer for a while and couldn't.

Thanks again! It is nice to know you all were thinking of us. Hope you all are doing well. Big hugs and positive vibes to all. :love_heart:
Good to hear you and yoour family are feeling better.

Thank you all for the prayers and positive thoughts - it meant so much - I swear I felt it. We've got to go back Friday for a different procedure - it's a small lump in her breast and they couldn't do the needle biopsy - so it's a little more complicated. I'm not worried yet - I know so many warrior women who have gone through this and beat the crap out of it.

Has anyone on this bord have any experience with an extended job loss. I am finding it hard to find a job and am finding it stupidly hard to find a seasonal job for Christmas this is insane. I don’t know what else I have to do. I am afraid if I don’t get a job in the next few weeks I will lose the window to do so. and I will have little money for Christmas gifts this year, not like I hav a lot of people to buy for but still. I am just so tired of having little money and having to nickel and dime myself even if I whant a coffe or a small treat. I hate this feeling. I just want to pay of my $3000.000 loan and then I may have some extra money. I am just felling so frustrated. I am going to do the dishes and have a bath soon. Perhaps that will make me calm down
That really sucks : (, hope you can find a job in time.

Are they designed differently for you? With the kinda pill bottles Walgreens gives us it's just pushing the cap down and twisting it.

Yeh it is. Well I think the worse death was when 3 people ended up dead and one really Bradley hurt after the large roller coaster car derailed and fishtailed and got separated from the ride track. That was about 3 months after the amusement park opened in the early 1980’s. It came down to not proper maintenance and the manual was written in German then translated into English. so yeh the mall is haunted.
Wasn't there that Action Park place where a bunch of people died? It's quite tragic the idea of going somewhere to have fun only to end up dead in a freak accident.

Good morning,

Kids' bus did not show up this morning. Took them and Ty's friend to school and called the bus barn. Guess there was a sub. Their regular driver is not so great either though.

Anyway. Had blood drawn yesterday. Hope I don't have to go on the changing med doses merry go round again when results come in. Felt very congested in my chest again last night, I hope I am not going backwards again. Still working on getting the antibiotics gone.

Have a good day and a happy weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all. :love_heart:
