I don't think there is any one answer for this. It can sometimes be difficult to stay positive when you are surrounded by negative thoughts. Dana Jean had a good suggestion. Also, if you are able, volunteering in your community can make you feel like you are adding positiveness to your life as well. Good luck!
A few drops of water is bad. This promotes mold and mildew and rot. Just for your own safety and health, ceilings shouldn't have condensation! I'm worried the ceiling is going to come down on you!We had a guy in yesterday taking a look - he thinks it is condensation - our roof was replaced 10 years ago and has a 25 year warranty. But thanks for the advice - it's scary to see a few drops of water coming down on you.
Our attic access is difficult too - even when the house was inspected before buying, the guy just stuck his head up into the attic and looked around a bit - but that is the old part of the house - someone will need to get up there and find their way over to the new part. We have been in our house since 2001 and had a lot of renovations done in 2009.
It's weird - at the same time this guy from Nisby was over, Andy had some East Indian young lady in, giving a demonstration of reverse osmosis water treatments.

yeh i am doing a lot of that while i am unemployed..it just that they called an election in my area and that is causing me concern. I may take some mental health days off for the next week and go to places in my city that i do not regularly get to go. i am not sure when i will pop back on so have you all a good weekend and have a fun day................

Good morning all.
Been pretty busy. Babysat Sage and Spencer a while on Monday afternoon so Marti could go to her 6 week checkup. 6 weeks already! Then we went and looked around our new Marshalls store. It opened last Friday. Then had a parent meeting at Ali's school, she is participating in track. First meet has already been rescheduled, was supposed to be next Tuesday but there is still too much snow on the track and field. So it is pushed back a week.
Today I have to go renew my drivers license. Keep forgetting to do that. It is good til Sunday.And I am going to go buy paint, I think. So we can get going on that room swap we have been planning for 2 years.
But first, going to take a walk. I am told my thyroid meds are good now, with rotating between 2 doses, every other day. But still gaining weight. I know part of that is, I have quit smoking. Today is day 46. I am using a nicotine patch and will step down to step 3, the final step, tomorrow. I am proud of myself, really did not think I could ever do it. And it is hard, but getting easier. But now this extra weight I have found needs to go. Part of me says look, you are just a squishy grandma. It's ok, you've earned it. But the vain part of me hates it. Because I am not only a squishy grandma.

Nessy, Congrats on quitting smoking!! I have tried many times but just don't have the will power, but the colder it is outside the less I smoke because inside is always smoke free.

Hi all! How was everyone's weekend?
Good here. Caught up on some chores, did quite a bit of reading. Brandon and Marti made me dinner and cake for my birthday since Scott worked. Got some cute handmade cards from the grandbabies. Spencer is smiling already! So cute.
I think we need to look into getting Ty a guitar. They are doing a simple unit in his music class at school and apparently he is a natural! So much so that his teacher asked him if he had had lessons and did not believe him when he said no. He was not interested in taking band so this is a cool little surprise. He is kind of my awkward kid, shy and quiet. When we were at the junior high last week with Ali for her track meeting, he was completely intimidated and it worried me some, as he will be there next year. So maybe the guitar thing can help him with his shyness a little bit and help him to make new friends.
Going to be 63 here today. We are going to go enjoy it some. It is not very sunshiney but nice!

hello everyone. I am felling a bit better. I had a decent weekend. I also have a job interview on Thursday so that is making me a bit more positive about my job search...... that and listing to some Disney music has helped an awful lot..

We just got back from a walk. The snow is pretty much all gone now. It was nice to be able to look around rather than watch my feet so I don't slip on anything. I see little bits of green showing in lawns!
