....cookie crumbs AND liniment......now THAT'S kinky!....throw in a power screwdriver and we make weirded out history.....
Weirdly enough I am actually thinking of making cookies (it's been a while but I have a recipe for Spice Crinkles that looks good). I should get off my butt and start baking.

Ooooh - sounds good - is it an iPhone?
:cell:
Its an Android but its great!! I have set the settings so that when the phone is home or at work i dont have to unlock it it opens automatically. On all other locations it must be opened with a code first. The phone feels where it is so can recognize the accurate address. I could also have used fingerprints to open it, it has that choice but i just saw an episode of NCIS where a bad guy shops off a hand of the dead guy so he can open a finger print lock and i thought hmmm, no thanks. I want to keep my hands and fingers!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that! I always use transparent tape to seal envelopes and inevitably leave fingerprints on the tape. I'm convinced someone will try to frame me for a heinous crime. :Oo:

....after moving a combined 78 years of household stuff over the past few weeks.....I say we just rub liniment on each other and take a nap.....
:D

I thought about you when I got frustrated the other day. Moving is the worst. And the emotional weight of your loss on top of it, I told myself I had no reason to complain, I am just rearranging!

Good morning!

Grocery shopping on the agenda today. Not looking forward to that.

Definitely starting to feel like fall around here. The light looks different, nights are noticeably cooler. :(

Hope you all have a great day. I'll be in and out! Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:
I get tired just reading your posts, Cat!! My agenda for the day is eating a schnitzel for dinner, reading some books in a leasurely way and just rest. Tomorrow the big event is meeting a few friends at a pub. talk and drain a few beers.

Sometimes it is great having another driver in the house. I'm sending Evan to the store. I'm only putting off the inevitable until tomorrow. :biggrin-new: But I have to drop Ali at school tomorrow to do her helper thing for Honor Society and pick up her schedule, so I will just go to the store after I drop her off. :applause:

To that I say "Hurray!" We went down to 9 C last night which is about 48 F. When it is minus 40 with a wind chill this coming winter I will probably look back on this time as nice, but at the moment I would rather have a break from the heat and humidity.

I had the oven on to make those Sugar 'n Spice cookies yesterday - phew!

Then I decided to try a recipe for "Easy Cheesy Potatoes" which required another 30 minutes at 375 :sweat_more:

We had to finally put on the AC as I was sweltering (Guess you could call that 'self-inflicted wounds' but those cookies were a nice change!)

I used the recipe from a Family Circle magazine

I can't even tell you the last time I had a cookie.

I did eat a bag of cheetos in two days about a week ago though.

These were nice and chewy with a spicy taste (ginger, cloves and cinnamon).

Not sure if you are a fan or not but I did use 1/4 cup of molasses.

It had been a long time since I made cookies

- Andy likes Cheetos too (are those the soft puffy ones?)

They sound fantastic. I'd eat them all while snarling at you, Josh and Andy.

Yes. Puffy cheetos. Those arthritic nub cheetos just can't compare.

Looks like they are getting ready to go back to school!
:welcoming:

Andy just left with our latest capture - another little red squirrel.

He's driving it over to the Kildonan Park which is actually only about 2.5 km from our house (about 1 and a half miles).

I wonder if they are smart enough to find their way back?

We are up to 10 red squirrels but since they don't have name tags or different coloured little hats it is hard to tell them apart!:inspect:
