Well, deactivating my Facebook helped. And alot of Oxycontin.

The person I feel most sorry for is Neesy, because she retired and she loves to talk to people on SKMB. There are the real dedicated King fans who most probably have some forums going. I think someone listed alternatives. I most probably will join all those available.

So...Like many other folks here, I am saddened that the shuttering of the board is a little closer to reality. I refuse to get all down in the dumps about it though, and will not be crying woe is me. After all, we have an entire year plus some to enjoy ourselves. Let's concentrate on the positives rather than whine, cry and stomp our feet.
I for one, am so happy to have found the SKMB and the people who make it a family. I've made many lasting friendships here, and would like to keep in touch.
I have exchanged addresses and phone numbers with several wonderful people, and welcome any and all who want to keep in touch to send me your contact info via PM, and I'll do the same. I promise I'm not weird.....well, not much!
Please feel free to use this thread to tag folks you'd like to keep in touch with if you're inclined to do so.
.......And please, let's celebrate the positives of our experience here, and not concentrate so much on the things we cannot change. Change is inevitable my friends, roll with it and be happy. ♥
I just found this "place" when I was recovering from my episode and in order to shorten my newly formed bucket list I asked a question about Bronco Billy in my first post (Still no definitive answer so bucket list ain't changed, thanks Ms Mod
). Now it's going away, eventually in 2020, and I have to look elsewhere for my therapeutic escapism...Guess I'll take up drinking?

And the lovely Ms Sunny wants me to contact her through some Prime Minister? And she will reciprocate? I don't even know many foreign rulers much less communicate through them...

Keep in touch includes sending cards, letters, and emails.......and also bringing me Dr Peppers and a pack of nabs now and then. Maybe a red velvet cake on occasion, and of course answering the door next time I show up on your porch.
