Any fans here?

This is a very well done BBC series. Jodie Comer is quickly becoming one of my most favorite actresses. She plays the part of Villanelle, the assassin, brilliantly. She is just brilliant. And Eve is her mirror and twin IMO. Fantastic concept and I love the cinematography of it. The landscapes and culture -- just love it.

Jodie Comer first came to my attention in Dr. Foster. An important character, but more window dressing in this one. Well done window dressing.

And apparently she was in The White Princess playing Elizabeth of York. Which I now will be seeking out to watch.

One of my favorite shows. If you ever get a chance to see an interview with Jodie Comer, take it. Her real accent will slay you. She sounds like a Beatle!
I watched her on the Graham Norton show. (which I love). I love Villanelle. Love her. SHe is such an interesting character and Jodie has this look to her that is childlike and unthreatening, until she kills. And then she smiles that little smirk and is back to being very playful. She's actually like a cat playing with a mouse. All fun and games until it isn't.

It's funny you say this, because (and now of course I wish I'd Googled her real accent earlier) when she is... (ah, no spoilers) let's say putting on an American accent, I keep hearing her Villanelle one peeking through. :biggrin2:

She was also on Ellen Degeneres. Sandra Oh had been on a few days earlier and "warned" Ellen about Comer's accent, so of course they talked about that straight away. I had seen her previously on Doctor Foster where she plays a mousy character, so the transformation to Villanelle is impressive.
