I'm sorry I haven't replied earlier, it's all just been a bit too heart-breaking, the Kon threads are especially difficult.
The image above is lovely and brings me to tears each time I look.

....for those of you still scoring at home-The GNT has landed!!!...I have been waffling on where to make reservations for the Kon, and some of you have asked me for recommendations-all I can say is, go where you think you'll be most comfortable.....it's impossible to gather all of us in one location....Tracy took a look at our lodging situation and immediately came up with a terrific idea.... we have rented a lake house for a week!!!....and here's the neat part-it's just across Pushaw Lake from where the first Kon gathering was held.....cast about, don't box yourself in as I did.....gathering together is not difficult-no matter where everyone stays....the place she found sleeps at least six, so Tracy and I will bunk down, and my oldest boy and his fiancé will be along and Vince and Deb from the Board will round this arrangement out.....get this, the place has two kayaks and a canoe....Seth(GNTSON)is nearly as large as I am.....us trying that would be akin to putting floaties on a blue whale.....
Maybe one Kayak for each leg??

...Hampton is well rated and is close to the airport.....we are going to drive, since 4 of us can spell each other at the wheel....Maybe one Kayak for each leg??
