I know my wife and are are excited to meet you all. We are looking forward to the events that have been setup and the gatherings. We also want to offer for Saturday and/or in any dead time that anyone who wants to come watch some of the King films in our theater are welcome. We have all the King films on tap, and you just have to watch the new It in Bangor/Derry on the big screen. :) Again, this isn't any official... just an open time whenever any of you want to come do it. Just don't time it for the official events... we want to attend those.

Only if its the cinematic masterpiece known as Maximum Overdrive!;;D

Right, well, looks like I won't be coming after all. The bay above our dining room window sprung a leak a while back and we thought it was fixed. Apparently not. Not only has it started leaking again, but part of the bay's 'ceiling' has fallen away and there are signs that damp has actually got into the house structure itself. Quotes we've had so far run between £1,200 and £1,800 though that's really just to get the bay sorted, so it looks like the jolly to the States (Maine first for me, then down to Charlotte, North Carolina so the gf can see her mate) has been well and truly torpedoed.

I'm sorry to hear this Mr. Nobody (I'm hoping as I catch further up in the posts the situation will have remedied). If it helps make it possible for you, we have room to put you up at home in Bangor for the Con. I realize that is only a small offset in cost but if it helps... we got you covered.

Hrm. The only thing I wish that would have lined up better is if the Summer Tour of the Standpipe had fallen during the Con. It is on July 26th.

I have that one already in the stack if it is requested. We plan on having all the King movies (and many Sai King has suggested himself) available. We will just roll whatever anyone wants to watch.

Unfortunately there's no way we can make it happen (this time), but thanks for the offer. It's really generous of you and I very much appreciate it.

Well... you will have to make the next one. Or... when things are more stable head down to Bangor any old time and we will put you up and give you all the local tours. You won't get to meet everyone... but it will still be a hoot.
