... which I believe is not one of his best loved books.

I think the problem with his later books is that they're just not so well-known yet as the early classics, which are such a well-known part of popular culture. He has written so much, and apart from the most die-hard fans most people simply haven't read them all (yet). Will those later ones over time get just as well-known as the early ones, it's hard to tell, but I suppose they can, as Green Mile is a later one that's also managed to get as well-known as the earlier books. I think also to get really embedded in popular culture there needs to be a film - before the film Green Mile also wasn't as well-known yet. Most people find the time to watch a film, but not to read a novel of several hundred pages.
SK has even said that the film of Carrie was what really made his name as well-known as it is today.

I am new to Stephen King. I recently read Duma Key and 11.22.63, and really liked them. The problem I have is that I don't like horror. I would never read IT for instance. I wondered if anyone could tell me which of his books that are categorised as 'horror' would fall more into the psychological/supernatural/thriller category as opposed to gory horror? I was thinking of trying Lisey's Story next.

Thanks.

There's the green mile, Shaw shank redemption, hearts in (of)?Atlantis, revival, the stand, I'm sure there are others but thats what I can think of :)

Welcome to the SKMB! In addition to what's been mentioned, I would recommend Different Seasons. It's four novellas that are the basis for Shawshank Redemption, Stand by Me and Apt Pupil. The last one hasn't been made into a movie.

As for your other question, there is a LOT of blood and cutting in Lisey's Story. If that means gore to you, then maybe try a few others first?
