Ridiculous!Rats
Sarasota itself would probably be the most neutral place to meet up and that has locations that Steve would have mentioned in his writing. Going with the every other year schedule, 2020 will also be my retirement year so I may have put down the baton when the next Kon is held.I live in Mobile but still, Sarasota, Florida is surely closer than Seattle, Washington and Maine...... Ms. Marsha, what would be a good non-intrusive place for everybody to meet down over Florida way and when you'll be around, provided retirement doesnt steal you away first?
Good for you but sad for us!Sarasota itself would probably be the most neutral place to meet up and that has locations that Steve would have mentioned in his writing. Not necessarily. I may not be still working as Ms. Mod but that doesn't mean I couldn't come to the Kon.Its quite the conditional bummer. Perfect conditions for retirement but not for finally getting to meet you in person at the Kon....
Every other year. Are the Kons yearly or what?
CoolEvery other year.

Gawd no--still planning to live in Maine the majority of the year and the winters in Arizona. My plans for retirement are to do whatever I want to do and the only thing King-related will be catching up on reading some of the books I've missed along the way. I only meant that coming to a Kon isn't dependent on my still working for them and would be in the capacity of an attendee just like everyone else if I've retired by then.
Hmmmm - now you've got us thinking, eh?
Official corgi walker?
Babysitter for the grandchildren (not yours of course) haha maybe when Joe Hill comes to visit?
You are not retiring in Florida are you?
Who’s been arranged to take your place in the SKMB hierarchy once you retire?Gawd no--still planning to live in Maine the majority of the year and the winters in Arizona. That would be good - less stress - I'm sure it's more fun just to be an attendee rather than a VIP [but you'll always have official VIP status with us anyway]Gawd no--still planning to live in Maine the majority of the year and the winters in Arizona. My husband and I were lucky enough to watch It in there. He;s on the board as Emilio Largo now by the way. I've created a monster! The absolute best way to watch a movie EVER! Hello to the kitties. The whole experience was real bucket list thing for us.
Are you implying you won't still be a board member after retirement?Sarasota itself would probably be the most neutral place to meet up and that has locations that Steve would have mentioned in his writing.
