From what I gather, the issue is Amazon CANADA/ Amazon US has it for the $30.
I can't fathom why there would be such a difference in prices though. If it's purchased in Canada and shipped to a Canadian address then it shouldn't cost so much, but it does. It's like they doubled the price of the book and then added an astronomical shipping cost. I can see it costing a lot if it's purchased in the US and then shipped to Canada because the rates for shipping to Canada have gone up so much in the last few years.

Early today I posted to her after cking the Uk/ US and Canada. I was floored by the difference. USPS cost to ship the book to her location for $24.95 using a Flat Rate Priority padded envelope. ( cheapest method due to wt of book ). International rates are unreal. Had a postal guy tell me " well they just aren't around the corner so it costs."

Neesy dear, forgive me if I do not tell him that...
If I did, I'd have to buy the guy a bigger hat.
Not that I am disagreeing... He is kinda cute.
And he's even better looking when he wears a suit.

Postage rates within Canada are bad. I sent my granddaughter 6 Barbie dresses, out of their packaging and in an 8 x 12 x 2 inch box. Cost from B C to Ontario was $41.00,. It was sent regular standard mail, no extras and took 5 weeks to get there! I think that is awful.

Sounds like highway robbery - plus the Post Office cut way back on door to door delivery and gave us those community mailboxes.

They do have some cool shark stamps however!

Hey Robert Gray - you like sharks don't you?
