I liked his old stuff like Watchers, Whispers, Strangers (a plural theme going there--lol). Of the newer stuff, I liked Fear Nothing and Odd Thomas. The rest of the ones I've read are inoffensive, but they don't stick in my mind for more than a day--I couldn't tell you much about any of them.

I second Odd Thomas. I was surprised when I unexpectedly came across the movie on TV. I hadn't known they even made one. And the movie was freakin' awesome.

....his upcoming novel(new series)The Silent Corner, would be a good introduction as well.....here he flexes his non-horror muscle, and has created a memorable character of suspense......as a lifelong reader of his material-I firmly agree, that while most of his reads are decent-a lot of them fade from the conscience as soon as you close the covers.....I think that's why Odd Thomas and Fear Nothing have stuck with me so long, the characters are striking.....it's why I wish he had developed Twilight Eyes into a 3 or 4 book arc......

One of my top ten books ever is Intensity by Koontz. I think maybe someone else wrote it, because I've tried others by him, and have disliked them all!

lol... I'd read a few novels by Koontz before reading Intensity. After reading a couple chapters, I had to look at the book cover to see if it really was written by Koontz. It was so different than his usual quasi sci-fi. I really liked it... Intensity was soooooo intense! :) Another of Koontz's novels that was different was Bad (something). I can't remember the entire title :(

I forgot Fear Nothing! How could I forget Fear Nothing!? Maybe because I've pretty much given up on Koontz ever finishing the trilogy :( I loved Fear Nothing and Seize the Night.

....I sure don't see the finale anywhere on the horizon after all these years, and he's so enamored with Jane Hawk now.....

I like the Snow books, too. His surfer friend was very memorable.
