I am frustrated that I own both the original first edition hardback with slipcover of this novel released through Cemetery Dance Publications, as well as the e-book for Kindle, and neither one offers the short story "Morality" that can be found in BLOCKADE BILLY's subsequent paper printings. Does anyone have any advice on how to prompt BB's publisher to volunteer an update to Amazon (and presumably Barnes and Noble for Nook owners, et al) so that the e-book offers the same bang for our buck that the current paper version provides? I know writing to Amazon isn't the answer because they just say "We'll pass your request on to the publisher..."

Then write the publisher and ask politely if they can update their material for Kindles when new printing include additional material. It might mean a small additional charge for the updated Kindle version- just as you would pay for the newly published paperback.

I suppose that's the best way to go; I'll have to investigate if it offers an email option. I mean, come on, don't make me write a physical letter to be physically mailed. I'm an e-reader owner; clearly, I'm lazy. I doubt there will be an upcharge--I've never had such a thing apply on any of my other e-book updates.

...if I may suggest, oh bossy miniscule penis...maybe you could obtain a July 2009 issue of Esquire magazine, where it was first published...

I've considered it, but as a passionate devotee and proponent of e-readers, I will only do so as a last resort. At this point, the gun is at my head, but the finger on the trigger is slack.

I was thinking it might be fun for us all to use two adjectives describing our personalities and add our favorite body part as our screen names. Wouldn't that be some kinda fun?

Sorry Officious Little Prick - just funnin' ya a bit.
